For a country like America, the people really don’t care much about water tanks for the fact that they are a developed country with a great amount of water to supply them.
It is for this reason that ceremonies such as the World Water Day are observed every year. The United Nations General Assembly has declared March 22 as World Water Day or the World Day for Water. This all began in 1993.
In this occasion, the United Nations requests all people to not turn on their faucets to be able to conserve water. Various issues are taken up annually so that every country can take part in an occasion like this. One specific activity is the raising of global issues regarding water.

What the Council did was to have an annual report about the status of water in various parts of the world.
Back in 2001 the theme was “Water for Health”, then in 2002 it became “Water for Development”, when 2003 came it was now “Water for Future” and then there where different themes each year until the latest one in 2011, which was “Water for Cities: Responding to the Urban Challenge”. The topics that are chosen are looked into meticulously before they really become the theme. The theme that is final will then be distributed among various organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO), Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and many more.
The water tank business is very simple but it does great wonders. Water tanks are constructed so that safe and clean water will be conserved. Those using water tanks are individuals that work on the fields, on the irrigation systems and in agriculture.
